Raymond G. Hanzl, 74, of Macungie, died Sept. 25, 2017 in his residence.  He was the husband of Sylvia (Kline) Hanzl, with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on November 25, 2017.  Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Ruppert and Stella (Keppel) Hanzl.  He was a US Air Force Veteran. He worked for Lucent Technologies as a machine maintenance repairman for many years, retiring in August of 1999. He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors: Wife, Sylvia; Son, Todd Hanzl and wife Elizabeth; Daughter, Kelly wife of Garrett Kline; Brother, David Hanzl; Sisters, Elsie Benninger, Elizabeth McCarthy, Barbara Fenstermaker; Brother-in-Law, Edward Kline; Nephew, Eric Schiavone; Grandchildren, Riley Hanzl and Tyler Brock.

Services: Private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
