Raymond L. Foreback, 83, of Macungie, died March 16, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the widower of Janet A. (Adams) Foreback.  Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Lewis and Fern (Bowman) Foreback.  He honorably served his country in the Air Force during Vietnam.  Ray was a commercial airline pilot for United Airlines for many years.  He was an avid golfer and member of Lehigh Country Club.  He loved spending time with his wife Jan.

Raymond is survived by his son, Raymond L. Foreback and wife Lisa of Kutztown; daughter, Connie O. Foreback Boyer wife of Matthew Boyer of Fogelsville; stepsons, Stephen M. Gould and wife Renee of Macungie and Dr. John Gould, III and wife Kimberly of Columbia, SC; brothers, Robert Foreback and Thomas Foreback; grandchildren, Maeve Boyer, Madeline Boyer, Lee R. Foreback, and Elise McCauley.  He was predeceased by a brothers, Richard, Louis, and Jack.
