Randy L. Helfrich, 60, of Lewes, DE, formerly of Macungie, died February 14, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  Born on February 12, 1958 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Grace E. (Schmoyer) and Ray Helfrich, Sr.   Randy attended Emmaus High School.  During his time in Pennsylvania, he worked as a laborer in manufacturing and in construction and other seasonal positions.  Upon moving to Lewes, he worked as a farmhand as well as at the produce stand of the farm.  His last place of employment was as a road service tech for Wiedmann Towing.

Survivors: Son, Matthew Buck; 2 Grandchildren; Brother, Gene Helfrich and wife Carol of Nazareth, Ray Helfrich, Jr. and wife Sheri of Macungie, and Rodney Helfrich and wife Carla of Allentown; Sister, Renee wife of Stephen Ward of West Virginia; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: A memorial gathering will be held on Thurs., Feb. 22, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus, PA. A Celebration of Life gathering to be held at a later date.
