R. David Stewart R. David Stewart, 70, of Emmaus, died suddenly on March 26, 2013. He was the husband of Wilma A. Stewart, with whom he would have celebrated their 50th anniversary in August. Born in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of the late Robert and Helen (McQuay) Stewart. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and worked for PP&L, VAST, and Mt. Trexler Home before retiring. He was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit. He enjoyed doing Soduku and spending time with his grandchildren and their dog Buddy. Survivors: Besides his wife; Daughter, Tammy wife of Jim Scanga of Pittsburgh; Grandchildren, Abigail, Jesse, and Annalise Scanga of Pittsburgh and Matthew, Blake, and Alec Stewart of Austin, TX; Brothers, Ronald of NC, Charles of CT, and Richard of Smithfield; Sisters, Meredith Schmidt of CO and Cheri Stewart of Yardley. He was predeceased by a son, D. Matthew Stewart in 2010. Services: Funeral Services Sat., March 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus.
