Pauline Herring Pauline (Lentz) Herring, 85, of Allentown, died Sept. 24, 2012 in Manor Care Allentown. She was the wife of Sherwood C. Herring. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in March 2012. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Frederick P. and Helen (Kline) Lentz. She was a 1945 graduate of Allentown High School. She worked for Bell Telephone, as a cashier at for the former Almart and Lehs Department Store. She was the Vice President of Sherwood Herring Signs, Emmaus retiring in 1998. She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church and sang on the choir. She was a member of Zion Choral Society for 20 years. Survivors: Husband; Daughters, Cynthia wife of John Siwy of Estero, FL, Sherry wife of Rev. Jeffery Gehris of Nazareth, and Claudia wife of Bobby Siegfried of Allentown; 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas Herring. Services: Funeral Services Thurs., Sept. 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
