Pauline M. Alderfer Pauline M. Alderfer, 84, formerly of Emmaus and Kutztown, died May 7, 2010 in her daughters residence. She was the widow of the late Howard F. Alderfer. Born in Fogelsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Maude (Stufflet) Stopp. She was a presser for the former Emmaus Pajama and Shirt Factory, retiring in 1967. Survivors: Daughter, Patricia Edeker of Conroe, TX and Barbara wife of Alton Muth of Alburtis; Howards Nephew, Donald Bitting of Minesite; Brother, Harold Fritz of Wildwood, NJ; Sisters, Barbara wife of Gerald Burket of Blandon, Nancy Shane of Douglasville, and Maude Colins of Rincon, GA; Grandchildren, Chris, Deann, and Scott; Great Grandchildren, Chris, Chelsea, Rebecca, Nicolas, Amanda, Julieana, and Connor. She was predeceased by brothers, Earl Stopp, Paul Stopp, and Joseph Fritz. Services: Funeral Services Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
