Paul Allen Wieder, 59, of Danielsville, formerly of Macungie, died July 27, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Willard D. and AnnaMae (Schafer) Wieder.  Paul graduated from Emmaus High School and the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21.  He went on to work for VIA of the Lehigh Valley.  The family would like to thank the many people in the community that provided for his care and support while navigating through life with Down Syndrome.  Our lives have been changed for the better because of Paul.  His loving kindness and bright smile were a part of who he was.  He loved NASCAR, football, and many years of camping and travel.

Paul is survived by his brothers, David W. Wieder and wife Rev. Kathryn A. Wieder of Allentown and Thomas R. Wieder and wife Pamela of Emmaus; caregiver of over 20 years, Laurie Kistler and her husband Jeff; nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by brother, Mark A. Wieder and wife RaeAnn.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
