Paul C. Manwiller, 93, entered eternal life on June 19, 2024 at Country Meadows of Allentown, PA. Peacefully surrounded by his family, his Country Meadow's family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Frances (Graber) Manwiller, where they resided in Emmaus, PA for 61 years.

Paul was born in Boyertown, PA. He was the son of the late Walter Schlegel Manwiller and Emma (Hess) Manwiller. He graduated from Boyertown High School and attended Penn State University, served in the US Air Force and Air National Guard.

Paul worked on the Schubert-Graber Farm in Zionsville, PA. He had a long and successful career in the heavy-duty truck industry for over 40 years. He began his career with the former Berman Sales Co. and then spent 27 years with Air Products & Chemicals, where he proudly worked as Fleet Maintenance Manager. He was a founding member of the Lehigh Valley Fleet Maintenance Supervisors Association. He received several industry honors for his innovative approach to Vehicle Maintenance and Management. Paul was honored by Commercial Car Journal as Fleet Maintenance Executive of the Year in 1989.

Paul was an avid collector of trucking memorabilia and books. He published several books on the history of truck manufacturing. Paul was proudly one of the founding members of the America on Wheels Museum. He was happy to have had the opportunity to visit the museum again, prior to his passing.

Paul enjoyed meeting people, humbly sharing his thoughts on life, trucks and family history. He and Frances enjoyed being active at St. Ann's Church, Emmaus. He was an avid woodworker. He enjoyed bingo, country rides and gardening with friends at Country Meadows.

Paul is survived by two daughters; Karen Hangey, husband Barry of East Greenville, PA and Sharon Ney, husband Thomas of Loveland, OH. He dearly loved his grandsons, Andrew Ney, Matthew Ney and Ryder Hangey.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C, 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Visitation will be held prior from 10:00-10:30 AM. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Emmaus.
