Paul C. "Butch" Hartzell, Jr., 73, of Emmaus, died May 27, 2021 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Patricia A. (Zeravsky) Hartzell.  Born in Minesite, he was the son of Florence E. (Kuhns) Hartzell and the late Paul C. Hartzell, Sr.  He worked at the Macungie Shoe Factory, Emmaus Shirt Factory, Klein's Foundry, Unicast, and as a utility worker at Cintas, Emmaus.  He was a member of the Emmaus Ambulance Corp for 15 years, raised show chickens and rabbits, and helped his brother, Arthur with his race car.  Butch enjoyed camping with his family.

Paul is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia; daughter, Francine F. Hartzell; mother, Florence; siblings, William Hartzell and wife Mona Lisa, Viola wife of John Ritter, Reuben Hartzell and wife Bing, and Lewis Hartzell and wife Karen.  He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Hartzell.
