Patricia K. Plouffe, 90, of Emmaus, died May 17, 2016 in St. Luke's Hospice House. She was the widow of John R. Plouffe. Born in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anne (McCartin) Keenan. She was a columnist for the Emmaus Free Press and was a member of the National Federation of Press Women. She was active in in the Lehigh Valley Writers Guild and the Alburtis Lock Ridge Historical Society. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.

Survivors: Sons, Kim R. Plouffe and wife Kathy of Philadelphia, Brad M. Plouffe and late wife Susan of Macungie, and Christopher G. Plouffe and wife Kelly of New Port Richey, FL; Daughters, Barbara wife of Stephen Klimek of Allentown, Lynn Johnson of Gouldsboro, Diane wife of Joseph Kalata of Mansfield, Robin Plouffe of Tucson, AZ, and Marylee wife of Thomas Zart of Orefield; Sisters, Mary wife of Joseph Schreck of Clinton Twp., NJ and Irene Ackley of Concord, NH; 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Ward M. and Shane and a brother, Robert Keenan.

Services: Viewing Mon., May23, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
