IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia A.
Dillman
December 5, 1947 – June 10, 2017
Patricia A. Dillman, 69, of Salisbury Twp., died June 10, 2017 in St. Luke's Hospice House after a 2 plus yearlong battle of mediastinal liposarcoma. She was a wife, mother to 2 and a grandmother to 5. Pat was a 1965 graduate of William Allen High School and a graduate of the Allentown School District Practical Nursing Program. She dedicated her life as an LPN for 40 years and would have been married 48 years on Wednesday. She was a very spiritual person while dedicating her life as a teacher during Church Sunday School. She led and organized Vacation Bible School back from the 70's all the way until the end of her life and was the Christian Education Director for the past 12 years. After Pat and Richard's daughter passed away from a tragic bus accident in 1991 while going to a twirling competition, they decided to bring something good out of a bad situation. They started a non-profit hospital hospitality house called Jenn's House. This served as a home away from home for families that have a loved one hospitalized. We were fortunate to have this during the 12 days while Jenn was at Hershey Medical Center. Starting Jenn's House gave her a way to focus after losing a child. They both volunteered all their time, as a labor of love, for the last 26 years without taking a salary. Pat had a full life and truly loved everyone. She would have done anything for you no matter what. She so dearly loved her husband Richard, son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Angela, and lived for her grandchildren, Brian Jr., Brad, Josh, Nicole, and Natalie.
