Patricia V. Caverly Patricia V. Caverly, 77, of Lower Macungie Twp., passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit. Born in the Vinegar Hill section of Manhattan in 1931, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (OConnor) Bradley. She was the wife of Andrew J. Caverly with whom she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary on April 26, 2008. They moved from New York to Emmaus in 1972 where they raised their family. She was a homemaker, chauffeur to and from practices and ballgames, and a cheerleader for 3 generations of Caverly athletes. She was tirelessly dedicated to her family and loved nothing more than spending time with them. She was an avid baseball fan and loved watching her Yankees. She was a volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 10 years and a Charter member of the Emmaus Lioness Club and was a past Treasurer and participated in their many fundraisers. She was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Emmaus. Survivors: She is survived by a devoted family. Husband, Andy; Sons, Andy and wife Sandy, Mike and wife Christine, Ed and wife Joni, and Tom and wife Michelle; Sisters, Joanie Allen and husband Warren and Anna Alcide and husband Artie; Brother, Jimmy Bradley and wife Adele; 10 Grandsons; 1 Granddaughter and 2 Great Grandsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Jack Bradley and his wife Mary and a daughter-in-law Cheryl (Bartholomew) Caverly. Services: Memorial Services Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Anns Catholic Church. Friends may call Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
