Nicholas Lee Diehl, 35, of Macungie, died September 30, 2017. He was the husband of Adrea L. (Rushatz) Diehl devoted father of Cadence and Autumn. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Lee A. Diehl and Donna M. (Rhoads) Diehl. He honorably served his country in the Army in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He later worked as a truck driver for US Foods. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown. He had an infectious personality that left a lasting impression on everyone who met him. He was a passionate fan of sports, specifically the Philadelphia Eagles, Penn State football and the Georgetown Hoyas basketball team. He was a loyal friend and dedicated family man.
Survivors: Loving wife, Adrea; Mother, Donna M. Diehl; Father, Lee A. Diehl and his wife Patricia; Sister, Kelly Moyer and her husband Daniel and their son Jaxon, Nick's Godson and Nephew; Brother, Nicholas Roth and wife Bethany; Mother- and Father-in-Law, Wendy and Andrew Rushatz; Maternal Grandfather, Robert E. Rhoads; Sister-in-Law, Sara Gasper and her husband Tim and their children Rocco and Charlie.
Services:
A Memorial Service with military honors will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus, PA 18049. Visitation Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Schantz Funeral Home, P.C .
