Nathaniel Richard Kelly Nathaniel Richard Kelly, 76, of Emmaus, died April 30, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Frances K. (Beaky) Kelly. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary in October 2007. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late George and Eva (Heimbach) Kelly. He worked as a manager for the former Lehigh Safety Shoe and later as a machinist for General Machine Company. He was a life member and treasurer of the Emmaus VFW, life member of Emmaus Fire Co. #1, member of the Catholic War Vets, and a member of the Alburtis Rod & Gun Club. He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean conflict. Survivors: Wife; Son, Michael Kelly and wife Karen of Allentown; Daughter, Lori wife of Kenneth Vecchio of San Diego, CA; Brother, Clark Kelly and wife Myrna of Emmaus; Sister, Betty wife of Frank Flamisch of Emmaus; Grandchildren, Kristen and Ryan Kelly, James, Drew, Kurt, and Jack Vecchio. He was predeceased by a brother, George Kelly and a sister, Corinne Heller. Services: Funeral Services Monday, May 5, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing Sunday 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Monday 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery, Emmaus.
