Nancy M. Brey, formerly of Emmaus, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the age of 92.  She was the wife of the late John B. Brey, Jr.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Myrtle (Appel) Beitler.  She was an Avon Representative for 50 years.   Nancy had a life-long love of country music.  In high school she was a member of Neil Kline's Variety Kids and later she sang with Pop Joe and His Mountaineers. She was the singing cowgirl known for her yodeling, a skill she maintained throughout her life.  There was always country music playing in Nancy's house. Nancy loved collecting, but she enjoyed collecting cookie cutters the most.  She was a member of the Cookie Cutter Collectors Club and regularly contributed to their newsletter. In 2021, she was awarded their Friendship Award in recognition of the many years of helping others in the club. She was a member of Solomons U.C.C Macungie.

Nancy is survived by daughters, Vickie wife of Rodney Beitler of Fogelsville and Sheila Brey wife of Milford Lovett of Parish, NY; grandchildren, Corey Beitler and Carolyn Damiano.  She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Beitler and a sister, Marlene Williams.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, Emmaus is handling arrangements.
