Myrtle F. "Mickey" Peragallo, 100, of Emmaus, formerly a longtime resident of Oakland, NJ and Midland Park, NJ, died May 12, 2022 in South Mountain Memory Care.  She was the wife of the late Ferdinand Louis Peragallo.  Born in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Bessie (Berndt) Kortgard.  Mickey worked as a police dispatcher and secretary to the Chief of Police for Oakland, NJ for 32 years, retiring in 1984.  She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Church, Wyckoff, NJ.

Mickey is survived by her son, Lou Peragallo and wife Karen of Westfield, IN; daughter, Nancy wife of Ross Fanning of Macungie; grandchildren, Kevin Fanning and wife Tiffany, Gregory Fanning and wife Tammy, Melissa Peragallo, and Liann wife of Corey Senich; great grandchildren, Kyla, Cameron, Jared, Emily, and Malakai.

Graveside services will be held on Tue., May 17, 2022 at 11:30 AM in Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave., Mahwah, NJ.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
