Myrle G. (Geist) Heil, 94, formerly of Macungie, died June 1, 2022 in Saucon Valley Manor.  She was the wife of the late Jacob I. Heil.  Born in Alburtis, she was the daughter of the late Amos S. and Edna (Landis) Geist.  Myrle worked for the former Emmaus Shirt Factory and later worked in the cafeteria at East Penn School District for 30 years, retiring in 1993.  She was a member of Solomon's U.C.C.

Myrle is survived by her son, Timothy J. Heil and wife Kathy of Camas, WA; daughter, Beth A. wife of Glen Strouse of Slatington; grandchildren, Stephen, Stephanie, Jade, and Jasmine; great grandchildren, Ciara, Jakob, and Lily.

Funeral services will be held on Mon. June 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 12:00 to 1:00 PM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Solomons Union Cemetery, Macungie.
