Muriel Anne (Miller) Schmoyer, 82, of Topton, formerly of Emmaus, died July 22, 2018 in The Lutheran Home at Topton.  She was the wife of Rev. Carl R. Schmoyer, whom she married Sept. 26, 1959.   Born Sept. 30, 1935 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth D. and Roy A. Miller, Sr.  She graduated from Allentown High School in 1953 and worked as Church Secretary at St. John's Lutheran Church, Allentown after graduation.  She attended Muhlenberg College as Class of 1961.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Carl R. Schmoyer; Daughter, Anne E. wife of Gene Burns of Littlestown; Brothers, Robert K. Miller of Macungie, John D. Miller of Houghton, NY, Charles S. Miller of Whitehall, Ronald D. Miller of Palmyra, Dr. Gene W. Miller of Allentown, and Lynn T. Miller of Green Lane; Sister, Kathryn Miller of Whitehall; Grandchildren, Megan, Jordan, Logan, and Derran and Great Grandchildren, Hailie, Tyler, Nathan, and Anya.  She was predeceased by Brothers, Roy, Ross, Franklin, Enos, and Thomas Miller.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the auditorium of The Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 S. Home Ave., Topton.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
