Mitchell J. Kasenic, 59, of Emmaus, died March 1, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of Shawn (Myers) Battee.  Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Anthony and Charlotte (Lockhart) Kasenic.  Mitch worked as a book binder for Ingram Book Company for the last 14 years.

Mitchell is survived by his wife, Shawn; daughter, Lea Ann Herman; brothers, Michael Kasenic and Miles Kasenic; sister, Merlinda wife of Robert Bisese; stepchildren, Durintay Myers, Julia Myers, Dominique Myers, Jorie Myers, and Courtney Crandell; a host of nieces and nephews; best friend, Newbry Mitchell; grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Fri, March 5, 20201 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
