Mildred S. Sousa Mildred S. Sousa, 77, of Emmaus, died January 28, 2013 in her home. Born in Edwardsville, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Perhac) Koval. She worked as an executive assistant for Bethlehem Steel and Merck for many years, retiring in 1997. She was an active member of the Church of Assumption BVM, where she was a member of numerous parish ministries. She was a devoted grandmother, avid gardener, skilled seamstress, and sang with the Sweet Adelines. Survivors: Daughters, Donna M. Sousa of Emmaus, Lori C. wife of Imrich Gombar of Wilmington, NC, and Sharon C. wife of Daniel Ravenelle of Allentown; Sisters, Susan Krivenko of Emmaus and Margaret Witkowsky of Yardley; Companion of 30 years, Walter Pammer; Grandchildren, Victoria, Sasha, Sophie, Joe, and Val. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at 10:30 AM in the Church of the Assumption BVM, 4101 Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem. Viewing Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 8:30 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Emmaus.
