Michael S. "Tiny" Kneiss, Jr., 74, of Center Valley, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Martha (Hudak) Kneiss, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on May 1, 2015. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Michael S. Kneiss, Sr. and Helen V. (Frohleh) Kneiss. Michael was employed as a welder at PPL, retiring in 1998. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Limeport. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood crafting, and building and flying model airplanes. He was a life member of Ridge & Valley Rod and Gun Club and the NRA. He honorably served his country in the Air Force. Survivors: Loving Wife, Martha "Cookie" Kneiss; Daughters, Christine wife of Curt Vasilik of Alburtis and Cindy wife of Jason Renner of Orefield; Grandchildren, Cory and Ashley Vasilik and Emily, Matthew and Sarah Renner; Sister, Mariann Kneiss of Milton. He was predeceased by a Sister, Catherine and a Granddaughter, Lauren Renner. Services: Funeral Services Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10:15 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Emmaus followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 5050 St. Joseph's Road, Limeport. Viewing Friday 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Saturday 9:15 to 10:15 AM in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Limeport.
