Mervin Dale Cressman, 86, of Allentown, passed away on Sun., Dec. 28, 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was born Sept. 16, 1939, in Allentown and was the son of the late Leroy and Helen (Ackerman) Cressman. He was a devoted husband for 62 years to the late Louetta Cressman. He was a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School. Upon graduation, he joined the Army in 1957. He was employed by Air Products as a stock clerk for 44 years until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with his friends. He was trained as an upholstery apprentice and enjoyed restoring beautiful furniture. He absolutely adored his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, where he and Louetta were married in 1963.
He will be dearly missed by his daughters, Petrina Campagna and husband Paul, and Leah Ringholm. He was a proud Pop Pop to his grandchildren, Rachel Campagna wife of Samuel Fairbanks, Emily Ringholm, Lindsey Campagna, and Olivia Ringholm. He is survived by a brother, Blaine Cressman, Sr. and a sister, Claudine Schoenly. He was predeceased by a sister, Claire Cressman.
Funeral services will be held on Sun., Jan. 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice, 2455 Black River Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18015, who cared for both Lou and Merv in their final days.
