May Barto May Barto, 88, of Emmaus, died December 28, 2012 in LifeQuest Nursing Center. She was the widow of Wayne W. Barto. Born in Salisbury Twp., she was the daughter of the late Morris T. and Eliza G. (Heimbach) Eck. She was a secretary for Emmaus High School and later did clerical work for Rodale Press. She was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Emmaus where she served on the altar guild. She was a member and past president of Emmaus Senior Citizens, a member of the Emmaus Historical Society, and was an avid bowler in several bowling leagues in the area. Survivors: Son, Barry W. Barto and wife Donna of Emmaus; Daughter, Bonnie M. wife of Robert Burdette of Emmaus; Grandsons, Brian Barto and wife Allison, Brett Barto and Kimberly Scola, Jason Burdette and wife Ashley, and Bradley Burdette and wife Kristen. She was predeceased by brothers, Harvey and LeRoy Eck. Services: Memorial Service Saturday, Jan. 5, 2012 at 1:00 PM in St. John's U.C.C., 139 N. 4th St., Emmaus.
