Maryann V. Zaia, 82, of Macungie, died April 15, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  She was the wife of the late John C. Zaia.  Born in Queens, NY,  she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Baluha) Demko.  Maryann worked as a policy writer for Ohio Causality Insurance Company.  Later she worked parttime at McDonalds in Trexlertown.  She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus and the Ancient Oaks Woman's Club.

Maryann is survived by her sons, John Zaia, Chris Zaia, and Jim Zaia; daughter, Ann-Marie wife of Dan Busher; grandchildren, Elisa, Jacob, and Danielle; great granddaughter, Taylor Moyer.  She was predeceased by a brother, Joe Demko.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri., April 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 South 6 ^th Street, Emmaus, PA 18049.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
