MaryAnn Elizabeth Mumbauer, 93, of Macungie, died Feb. 19, 2022 in her residence.  Born Oct. 29, 1928 at home and raised in Vera Cruz, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Edna (Lorah) Benner.   She met her husband, Robert on a blind date and they enjoyed 62 years of married life.  MaryAnn was a 1946 graduate of Emmaus High School.  She worked for the former Hess's Patio, Allentown, Emmaus Pajama Factory, and Rodale Press, as a supervisor for 34 years, retiring in 1991.  She was a member of Emmaus and Vera Cruz Senior Clubs, Rodaleians retirees, Vera Cruz Community Association, and was a charter member of the Emmaus Lioness Club.

MaryAnn is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Georgia wife of Rick Quay; grandchildren, Lindsay wife of Phil Rockel, Jennifer wife of Chad Wood, and Rick and Tina Thompson; great grandchildren, Ariana, Skyler, and Mason.  She was predeceased by brothers, Cornelius and Joseph Benner.

Funeral services will be held on Sat., Feb. 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Macungie Baptist Cemetery.
