Mary E. Rafferty, 91, of Macungie, formerly of Easton, died January 16, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital surrounded by her family.  She was the widow of Francis "Lefty" Rafferty.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Kathryn (O'Brien) Keeney.  She was a teller for the former Cement National Bank and previously worked at Orr's Department Store.  She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and former member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Easton.  Mary volunteered for Meals on Wheels of Northampton County, served as a Brownie leader for many years, and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Easton.

Survivors:  Daughter, Catherine E. wife of Dr. Robert J. Rienzo of Macungie; Brother, William Keeney of Northampton; Grandchildren, Colleen Reeser, Kelly Bednar, Michael Rienzo, and Robert Rienzo; 6 Great Grandchildren.  She was predeceased by siblings, Margaret Jacobs, Catherine Ford, John Keeney, Eugene Keeney, Anna Speaker, and Helen Ferry.

Services:  A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown.  Viewing Friday 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus and Saturday 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Easton.
