Mary Krause, 85, of Emmaus, died Feb. 8, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ronald W. Krause.  Born in Bethlehem, PA and was in Liberty High School Class of 1954. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Harry and Lubov (Dubrowsky) Scheltzer. Mary, along with her husband, owned and operated one of the first Honda Motorcycle and Automobile Dealerships in the United States; Krause Motorcycle Sales and Krause Honda Ltd in Emmaus, PA from 1959 – 1985.  She was a founding investor and Director of the former East Penn Bank in Emmaus, PA. She was also a co-founder of Keystone Motorcycle Club. She was honored to be a finalist in 1956 AMA female motorcyclist of the year. She was a licensed notary in PA. Mary was a former member of Lehigh Country Club. Mary and Ron enjoyed traveling during their retirement which included residing in Mainz, Germany, Myrtle Beach, S.C, Hilton Head, S.C., and traveling with their Motor coach.

Mary is survived by her daughters; Colleen, wife of Gerald Straw of Jacksonville, FL, Doreen,  wife of J. Michael Lane of Bakersfield, CA, and Darlene Krause-Clemence of Neffs, PA., sister, Hannah Margetich from Alexandria VA., brothers, Paul Scheltzer and wife Karen of Bethlehem, PA, John Scheltzer of Slatington, PA, grandchildren, Jody Lane, Tammi Lane- Perez wife of Carlos Perez, Jared Clemence and wife Tarah, Colin Clemence, Kiri Clemence; great grandchildren, Kayla Lane-Obee, Lane, Blake, Austin, and Quinn Perez, Eleanor and Henry Clemence; nephew, Billy Margetich; nieces, Kim Cressman, Dara (Margetich) Schlieker, and Robin (Scheltzer) Florindi; great nephews, Eric and Adam Miller. Cody and Corey Florindi, Tom and Ian Black; great nieces Cara (Margetich) Wilson wife of Travis Wilson, and Christine (Margetich) Levinson wife of Rory Levinson. She was predeceased by an infant son, Michael Krause in 1961, brother, Samuel Scheltzer, and niece, Leanne (Scheltzer) Black.

Viewing will be Thurs., Feb 24, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday Feb 25 ^th , 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus, PA.  Funeral services will be held on Fri., Feb. 25 at 2:00 PM at Schantz Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Western Salisbury Cemetery.

Flowers may be sent or contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
