Mary Hillegass Mary Hillegass, 97, of Emmaus, died June 15, 2011 in Lehigh Center. She was the widow of the late Harry H. Hillegass. Born in Lincoln, IL, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Varga) Havanko. She worked in silk mills in Emmaus and Allentown and later worked for the former Emmaus Hosiery Factory, retiring in the late 1950s. She was a member of St. Johns U.C.C., Emmaus. Survivors: Son, Ronald P. Hillegass and wife Shirley A. of Emmaus; Grandsons, Terry L. Hillegass and wife Carol of Macungie and Dr. Brian S. Hillegass of Greenbackville, VA; Great Granddaughters, Kimberly and Kristen; Nieces and Nephews. Services: Funeral service Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
