Mary L. George, 82, of Emmaus, died Feb. 2, 2025 in the Phoebe Home.  She was the wife of the late Norman P. "Ted" George.  Born in Kutztown, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Grace A. (Meitzler) Trumbauer.  Mary co-owned George's Greenhouse in Emmaus from 1962 until retiring in 2018.  She was a former member of the Emmaus Ambulance Corps, Emmaus Nest of Owls, and Soroptimist Club of Emmaus.  She was also a member of the Emmaus Historical Society.

Mary is survived by her son, Russ A. George and wife Christine of Macungie; grandchildren, Matthew and Brianna.  She was predeceased by a son, Lee P. George.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Sat. March 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Visitation 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
