Mary Lou Evans Mary Lou Evans, 83, of Macungie, died June 2, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the widow of David E. Evans. Born in Youngstown, OH, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Todd) Watkins. She taught swimming lessons at Emmaus High School and Macungie Pool for 30 years. She was a member of the Macungie Minstrelaires, member of the Dame of the Danbeards, was active in the Delhigh Power Squadron and enjoyed sailing for many years. Survivors: Sons, David W. Evans and wife Sarah of Mertztown and Raymond D. Evans and wife Ruby of Virginia Beach, VA; Daughter, Kathleen A. wife of Andy Anderson of Bradenton, FL; Brother, Dr. Dudley Watkins and wife Geraldine of East Granby, CT; 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Services: Funeral Services Monday, June 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Viewing 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Macungie.
