Mary A. Doney, 91, of Emmaus, died April 22, 2016 in Devon House. She was the widow of William H. Doney, Jr. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Estella (Weider) Stortz. She worked for the former Doney's Market and for Lehigh County Register of Wills. She volunteered for Emmaus Public Library and Lehigh Valley Hospital for 25 years. She was a longtime member of Emmaus Moravian Church and Kings Daughters. She was an avid bowler for over 60 years.

Survivors: Sons and daughter in-laws, Michael R. and Karen of Palm Coast, FL, Jack A. and Dorothy of Vero Beach, FL, Barry L.and Kathy of Boyertown, and Randy W. and Donna of Emmaus; Brother, Arthur Stortz of Emmaus; 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, Milton Stortz and sisters, Mae Krauss, Ruth Stoudt, and Kathryn Weaknecht.

Services: Memorial Services Thurs., May 5, 2016 at 7:00 PM in Emmaus Moravian Church, Main St. and Keystone Ave., Emmaus. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
