Mary Lou Bobey, 90, formerly of Emmaus, died Feb. 19, 2025 at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center.  Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marian (Haggerty) Grow.  Mary Lou worked as a clothing buyer for Junior Colony and Alice Kay.  She was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Allentown.

Mary Lou is survived by her son, Jeffrey Bobey and wife Janelle of Boiling Springs; daughter, Cheryl wife of Donald Hinkle of Macungie; brother, Robert Grow and wife Marie of Orefield; grandchildren, Jillian Bobey, Caitlin Everitt, and Ryan Hinkle; great grandchildren, Zoey, Maya, Eli, and Emily.

A celebration of Mary Lou's life will be held on Fri., Feb, 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
