Mary Ellen A. Speer, age 89, of Allentown, passed away on May 4, 2023 at Luther Crest in Allentown. She was the loving wife to the late John J. Speer with whom they shared 64 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Herbert J. and Annabelle B. (Lichty) Moyer. She graduated Allen High School in 1952. She worked in international sales and the distribution center at Air Products and retired in 1992.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Allentown.

Mary Ellen is survived by her daughters, Carol S. Hindle, husband Thomas and Barbara A. Speer and grandchildren, Sarah Hindle, Matthew Brown and Brian Brown.
