Martha J. Snyder Martha J. Snyder, 85, formerly of Emmaus, died August 14, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the widow of Raymond J. Snyder. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Earl E. and Lillian (Schell) Parry. She was a 1946 graduate of Palmerton High School. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for the former Arbogast and Bastian for 19 years. She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church. She was a member and treasurer of Citizens Fire Co. #1 Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors: 2 Nieces and 1 Nephew; 7 Great Nieces and Nephews and 5 Great Great Nieces and Nephews. Services: Funeral Services Sat., August 17, 2013 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
