Obituary

Marjorie "Lynne" Tridico, 73, of Allentown, died May 26, 2025, in her residence.  Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Dr. William J. Tridico and Marjorie S. (Seitz) Tridico.

Lynne spent much of her younger years as a volunteer, serving as a "Candy Striper" at a local hospital while in Junior High and High School in York. She then volunteered at several childcare centers, including while living in Cape Cod, where she was also hired as a daycare worker and worked in the office at her father's medical practice. Lynne went on to attend Brandywine Junior College before transferring to Allentown Business School, where she became a certified keypunch operator, and then attended Mandl School in New York.

Lynne's proudest and happiest moments came when she was with family, most notable when she spent time with her nephews.  Some of her fondest memories were when she babysat her oldest nephew during his pre-school years and when she attended school events for her younger nephews and spent every holiday with them at family events.

Lynne loved her pets and raised many animals throughout her life. Her ark included over twenty dogs, three cats, eight birds, and several other smaller pets, including a rooster named Eggbert Johnson.  When not caring for her pets, Lynne enjoyed vacationing with her family, and in more recent years, traveling to a variety of destinations with her mother. When at home, Lynne enjoyed reading true crime murder mysteries and watching horror films.

Lynne is survived by her brothers, William J. Tridico and Robert S. Tridico and wife Sylvia; nephews, William J. Tridico, Jr. and wife Robin, Zachary R. Tridico and wife Amiya, and Alexander J. Tridico; great nieces, Sophie and Emma.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Sanctuary at Haafsville, P.O. Box 921, Fogelsville, PA 18051.
