Marion G. Shannon Marion G. Shannon, 82, formerly of Emmaus, died Dec. 26, 2008 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of John R. Shannon. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on Aug. 15, 2008. Born in Bellevue, she was the daughter of the late Frederick J. and Anna Marie (McCreadie) Pritchard. She worked as a secretary for Mack Trucks for 10 years, retiring in 1985. She was a faithful member of St. Margarets Episcopal Church, Emmaus. She was a volunteer for over 20 years at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. Survivors: Husband; Son, James R. Shannon and wife Susan of Perkiomenville; Daughters, Rebecca wife of Dennis Silvert of Emmaus and Kathleen Shannon Koehn of Lenhartsville; Brother, Robert Pritchard of Mt. Lebanon; Grandchildren, Christine Stepp of Sunbury, Corrine Duke of Melbourne, FL, Dana Davies of Emmaus, and Jennifer Stevenson of West Lawn; 7 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel J. Shannon. Services: Memorial Services Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the St. Margarets Episcopal Church, Keystone Ave. and Elm St., Emmaus.
