Marie B. "Daisy" (Stanley) Thomas, 92, of Emmaus, formerly of Palmerton, died September 23, 2014 in Lehigh Center. She was the widow of the late John B. Thomas who she was married to for 67 years. Born in White Plains, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Paulina (Fulier) Stanley. She was a loving and caring mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Emmaus Moravian Church. She was a devoted volunteer for the Salvation Army for over 40 years and Lehigh Valley Hospital for over 45 years. She was a frequent visitor to the Emmaus library. She had a passion for knitting and enjoyed golfing with close friends. Survivors: Daughters, Linda J. Thomas of Charleston, SC, and Suzanne M. Thomas of Buffalo, NY; Brother, George Stanley of Bethlehem; Nephew, Dr. George Stanley of Baton Rouge, LA; Niece, Jenifer Stanley of Bethlehem.
