Marie E. Hassler Marie E. Hassler, 98, formerly of Bethlehem, died June 14, 2008 in the Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth. She was the widow of the late Wilmer G. Hassler, Sr. Born in Coopersburg, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Mary (Steininger) Bassler. She was a member of Schoeneck Moravian Church, Nazareth. Marie was a past member of King's Daughters and Sons, Women's Fellowship and the choir of West Side Moravian Church, Bethlehem, where she also served as a sacristan. She was a past cook for Camp Hope. Survivors: Sons, Clarence E. Hassler and wife Joan of Warriors Mark, Douglas A. Hassler and wife Ruth of Colorado Springs, CO, Wilmer G. Hassler, Jr. and wife Marge of Edmonton, Canada; Sister, Kathryn Schleifer of Bethlehem; 6 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren Services: Funeral Services Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
