Maria E. Marliese Schantz Maria E. Marliese Schantz, 66, of Emmaus, died Feb. 28, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Glenn H. Schantz, Jr. Born in Urexweiler, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Agnes (Boffel) Hitzler. She was a homemaker. She attended Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus. She was an avid Nascar fan. Survivors: Husband; Son, Curtis T. Schantz and wife Lori of Macungie; Daughter, Brenda K. wife of William P. Gebhardt of Northampton; Sisters, Inge Schoneberger and Irma Angel of Germany; Grandson, Jordan. Services: Funeral Services Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the church.
