Margaret A. Young, 84, of Emmaus, died peacefully October 21, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.   She was the wife of the late Kenneth M. Young, Sr.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Eleanor (Demmy) Willey.  Peg retired from Rodale Press, where she worked in data entry.  She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church.  She was a member of the Woman's Club of Emmaus and the Emmaus Historical Society.

Peg is survived by her son, Kenneth M. Young, Jr. and wife Karen; daughter, Debra D. wife of Frank E. Muthard; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Francis Willey.  She was predeceased by a son, Randy Young and a sister, Sandra Beecher.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the physicians who cared for her.  The compassion and love that was extended to her will never be forgotten.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
