Margaret J. Smith Margaret J. Smith, 84, of Emmaus, formerly of Perth Amboy, NJ, died August 7, 2009 in her residence. She was the widow of the late Virgil E. Smith. Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Macrae) Foley. She was a homemaker. Survivors: Children, Carol wife of Charles Fell of Allentown, Patti G. Pukas of Emmaus, Terri wife of George Puleo of Bricktown, NJ, and Jay Smith and wife Nancy of Maine; 13 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Anne Pirrong of Toms River, NJ; Daughter-in-Law Michelle Smith of Woodbridge, NJ; Sister-in-law Laverne Schaefer of Toms River, NJ. She was predeceased by a son Bruce Smith and a daughter and son-in-law Joanne wife of Walter Tomczyk. Services: Funeral Services private at the convenience of the family.
