Margaret I. Kerstetter Margaret I. Kerstetter, 86, of Emmaus, died April 15, 2010 in her residence. She was the wife of Russell R. Kerstetter. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in July 2009. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Carl A. H. and Viola (Frey) Hertzog. She was a 1941 graduate of Emmaus High School and a 1942 graduate of the former Allentown Business School. She worked as a secretary for the former General Machine Corp for 12 years. She was a member of St. Johns U.C.C., Emmaus, where she was baptized, confirmed, and married. She was the church historian, member of the Altar Guild, served on the Parish Life Committee, was secretary and past president of the United Church Woman, and was active in the quilting group. Survivors: Husband; Son, David R. Kerstetter and wife Robin of Emmaus; Daughter, Jane E. Kerstetter of Hellertown; Grandsons, Andrew and Jonathan. Services: Funeral Services Monday, April 19, 2010 at 10:30 AM in St. Johns U.C.C., 139 N. 4th St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
