Margaret A. Bortz, 93, of Macungie, died Nov. 8, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice.  She was the wife of the late Bruce L. Bortz.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Peter D. and Elma M. (Wieder) Bear.  Margaret was a loving homemaker.  She was a member of Solomon's U.C.C., Macungie.

Margaret is survived by her son, Dean Bortz of Emmaus; daughter, Carol wife of Timothy Maher of Macungie; grandchildren, Tesia Campbell, Lindsey Deane, and Brianna Bortz; great grandchildren, Jada, Alexander, Braxton, and Braylen.

Funeral services will be held on Tue., Nov. 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Solomon's Union Cemetery.
