Malcolm E. Fehnel Malcolm E. Fehnel, 71, of Zionsville, died July 22, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Ellen J. (Koch) Fehnel. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in February 2008. Born in Bath, he was the son of Miriam (Newhart) Tansock of Broadheadsville and the late Jacob Fehnel. He worked for the former Bonnie Forge, the former Fryhoffers, the former Caloric, and retired in 2005 from Ungerer and Company, Bethlehem. He was a member of Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville. He honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and served in the National Guard. Survivors: Wife; Mother; Son, Gerald P. Fehnel and wife Beverly of Emmaus; Daughter, Donna M. Kenney of Emmaus; Brothers, Robert Fehnel and wife Janet of Bethlehem and Joseph Tansock and wife Lee of Logan, UT; Sister, Caroline Roth of Broadheadsville; Grandchildren, Ross, Lee, Shannon, Shawn, and Shelby. Services: Funeral Services Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
