Mae A. Werst Mae A. Werst, 80, of Emmaus, died Oct. 20, 2009. She was the widow of the late Harold J. Werst. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Stephen and Irene T. (Lynn) Stephen-Hillegass. She was a switchboard operator for the former Emaus Telephone Company and later worked for the former Lutron Electronics for over 30 years. She was a U.C.C. member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church. Survivors: Son, Scott H. Werst and wife Kathryn of Emmaus; Daughters, Kathy M. wife of Keith Wieand of Mertztown and Patti L. Werst of Emmaus; Grandchildren, Yancey, Sherri, Jessica, and Amanda; 4 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson Jacob. Services: Funeral Services Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
