Madge Elaine Roth, 92, of Devon House, Allentown, passed away February 23, 2018 after a long and fruitful life of loving family connections, friends, and service to church, community and family.  She was a longtime resident of Emmaus and loved the community and its people.

She worked for the Emmaus Telephone Company for 30 years and was a member of numerous clubs including BPW of Emmaus, a life-long member of St. John's U.C.C. of Emmaus, including church consistory, and volunteered at Phoebe Home, Allentown for many years.

She is predeceased by her mother and father, Martha and John Weider and her loving husband Edward C. Roth.  She is survived by her only daughter Connie and her husband Brian Stroup of Palmerton; granddaughter Laura J. Stroup Baird and husband Joseph; great grandson Weston Edward Baird of Vermont; sister-in-law, Jeanne Hayden of Emmaus; nieces and nephew and cousin Linda Hengeveld.

Services:  Funeral services will be held on Fri., March 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
