Lynda L. Kapec-Bortz, 69, of Alburtis.  Died Nov. 11, 2018 in her residence surrounded by family.  She was the wife of Jeffrey A. Bortz.  Born in Elwood City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ida (Gaal) Kanzleiter.  She was a graduate of Riverside High School and attended Point Park College.  Lynda was a realtor and co-owner of Re/Max Towne & Country, Maxatawny since 1988.  She was an active member of Faith Church, serving in Divorce Care and was active in the children's services on Wednesday nights.

Lynda is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jeffrey; Sons, Jamieson Kapec (Alaska), Jason Kapec (Allentown), and Erik Bortz (Mertztown); Daughter, Lisa M. Bortz-Murphy (New Jersey); Siblings, Rick Gadzia, Marsha Chsko, Paulette Plavecsky, Louis Jr., Lori Coulter, Elizabeth Moshy, Jay Kanzleiter, Joe Kanzleiter ; Grandchildren, Jaiya, Julia, Grayson, Kaiya (Alaska), Hanna (Allentown), Ava, Eliza (Mertztown), Eden, Luke ( New Jersey).

Funeral Services will be held on Sat., Nov. 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Faith Church, 6528 Hamilton Blvd., Allentown.  Viewing Fri. 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Sat. 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
