Luella I. Schuessler Luella I. Schuessler, 90, formerly of Norwich, NY, died May 1, 2009 at Luther Crest, Allentown, PA. She was the widow of the late Oscar P. Jim Schuessler. Born in Forman, North Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Augusta (Sundquist) Isackson. She attended Valley City State Teachers College. She was a teacher in the Norwich School District for many years and was a homemaker. She was a founding member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Norwich, NY. She was an avid gardener and was well known in the community for her rose gardens and her African violet collection. She honorably served her country in the Coast Guard during WWII. Survivors: Sons, James P. Schuessler and wife Susan of Jackson, WY, Bruce C. Schuessler and wife Kathy of Emmaus, PA, and Jonathan A. Schuessler and wife Nancy of Plattsburg, NY; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
