Luella C. Keim Luella C. Keim, 93, formerly of Emmaus and a resident of Brookview Apartments, died September 5, 2010 in the presence of her daughters. She was the widow of the late Walter L. Keim. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Mabel (Zimmerman) Shoemaker. She was a 1934 graduate of Emmaus High School. She was the co-owner of the former Keims Grocery Store, where there was a postal substation. She also worked for the former Emmaus Shirt Factory. She was a life member and former secretary of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus Ladies Auxiliary, member of Citizens Fire Co. #2 Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Emmaus Business Professional Womans Club, and former member of the Eastern Star. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Emmaus. Survivors: Daughters, Carol A. wife of Willis E. Kuhns of Orefield and Patricia M. widow of Robert John of Bethlehem; 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother Stanley Shoemaker and ½ brothers Orville and Marvin Shoemaker. Services: Funeral Services Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Viewing Thursday 7:00 to 8:30 and Friday 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.
