Lucy J. Miller, 91, of Kutztown, died June 8, 2024 in Berks Heim.  She was the wife of the late J. Ernest Miller.  Born in Kutztown, she was the daughter of the late Howard S. and Marion (Dreibelbis) Oswald.  Lucy worked as a file clerk and did payroll at Caloric, was a cafeteria worker at Kutztown Elementary School for 13 years, and worked for Jim Neidermyer at the Kutztown Famers Market for 16 years.  She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown, where she taught Sunday School, sang on the choir, and did many social activities for the church.  She was a member of Kutztown Lioness Club since 1979.

Lucy will be remembered by her daughter, Melissa A. Miller; sister, Rosemary wife of Larry Albright; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Valerie D. Miller and sisters, Nancy Steffy and Dolores Seyler.

Funeral services will be held on Thurs., June 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM in St. John's Lutheran Church, 201 East Main St., Kutztown, PA 19530 with Rev. James W. Schlegel officiating.  Viewing 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lucy's memory to the church.
